Saying goodbye to 2022

It’s hard to believe 2022 is just about over. It’s been an exhausting year, one filled with change, new hopes and dreams, and the most wonderful news of all….my husband and I are going to be grandparents! We are so excited for this new season in our life and thrilled for our son and his wife, who will welcome a sweet baby boy in the spring.

My first MM romance book, Heal Me, was released in June and I’ve been thrilled with the response I’ve received from readers. Book 2 of the Healed series, See Me, will hopefully be released soon, with the final book, Revive Me, to follow. I want to take a moment and thank all the readers who purchased my book, took the time to leave a review, or reached out to me directly. Until this book, I had never heard directly from readers, and I must say how grateful I am to have received such sweet messages. I’m so very humbled by the positive feedback I’ve gotten on the book, but none of it would have been possible without my readers. I’m so very thankful for each and every one of you.

I’ve read some amazing books this year, including some by new authors I’ve recently discovered. Here’s a short list of my recommendations:

Best books of 2022:

-You & Me – Tal Bauer (such a beautifully told story of finding new love)

-Gravity – Tal Bauer

-Pen Pal – J.T. Geissinger (twisted & a little bit creepy, but highly addictive, this book will keep you on your toes until the very last word. A truly brilliant work of fiction).

-Beautifully Cruel – J.T. Geissinger

-Wicked Heat – Ella Frank (pretty much a yearly mention, Ella is by far one of my favorite authors of MM romance)

I’m currently reading a book by another new author I’ve discovered, Cora Rose. I’m only half-way through Until Him, but I love Cora’s writing and plan on reading more of her books in the new future.

Many life changes are in store for 2023, so writing and releasing new books may need to take a backseat for awhile. With the new grandbaby on the way, relocation out of state, and aging parents that require my attention, my focus (unfortunately) can’t be on my work. That said, I have every intention of releasing the final two books of the Healed series, as we.ll as a few standalone books, in the coming years.

I want to wish all of you a joyous holiday season, a very Merry Christmas, and many blessings to you and your family for the new year.

All my love,

AJ
