Recipe of the Month

You’ve been warned.
This recipe came to me a few years ago by a friend of a friend. I’ve made it numerous times and always end up sharing the recipe. It’s a perfect side dish for your holiday meal, or eaten on its own (which I have done…more times than I’m willing to admit).
I end this year of recipes with one of my favorites….
Those Potatoes
2 pounds frozen hash browns
½ cup melted butter
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
½ cup chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup Half & Half
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup sour cream
Thaw potatoes in a 9 x 13 pan (takes about 4 hours or so).
Preheat oven to 325.
Combine all ingredients and pour over potatoes. Bake for 45 minutes or until browned on top and bubbly (for my oven, it takes closer to an hour).
