I thought I’d better post a goody this month, this the past few months have been all about warm and hearty dishes. I’ve seen varied recipes such as this, but this particular one came to me by a student I used to work with. She was kind enough to share the recipe after bringing these into the classroom one day. They were a huge hit with the students (and me too!).
Thank you Sarah Beth!!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
½ cup + 2 tbsp. melted margarine
Mix these ingredients together and press into an ungreased 9 x 13 pan.
Melt 2 cups chocolate chips (I do this in the microwave...30 seconds...stir...30 seconds...stir again) until they are completely melted
Spread over the crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Cut into small squares
